WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Nell and Bold boss.
Fox Hollow Farms can trace its origins back several decades to Greenfield Stables of Jacksonville, Fl., and the rich equestrian traditions of horse training, riding, horse shows and weekend rodeos. A popular gathering place not only for horse enthusiast, but founder Nell Hastey also held Sunday afternoon concerts featuring young local area musicians, some of whom would eventually go on to national recognition, such as Lynyrd Skynyrd , Molly Hatchet, as well as Greg and Duane Allman in thier earlier band called Second Coming.
In the late 70’s, after a fire destroyed much of the property, on what is now Queens Harbor, Nell and her husband Ed moved their family and horses to Ponte Vedra/Palm Valley, about a nine iron shot from the famous TPC at Sawgrass. Despite the rapidly growing development of the area, Fox Hollow Farms remains a bit of the country tucked away, but convenient to, the popular N.E. Florida beach communities.
